Food was good. Service was good. For a drop in meal would recommend.
Dined at The Woolshed Inn this evening for the first time in many months and was severely disappointed by the menu. Previously there were a variety of enticing and creative dishes, but now only a bog standard collection of steaks, schnitzels, et al, completely uninspired. I chose the most interesting item, being the Southeast Chicken, which turned out to be overcooked, dry, and bland. The chips were substandard, with an awful oily flavour. Such a shame considering how great the restaurant was not so long ago.
Schnitzel was awesome. The chips that came with it were cold though which is a shame. I assume they were cooked and kept in a heatlamp/bain Marie which must not be set hot enough.
